From 1993-2002, as the owner and principal of Pacific Design Group-Tacoma, Inc., Jim Castino and his staff of seven design professionals, designed over $75 million in commercial projects throughout the Pacific Northwest region. Capitalizing on Jim’s prior experience as a project manager in the local construction industry, PDG sought to offer their clients a practical & pragmatic approach to architectural design coupled with a level of field expertise unique in the profession of architecture.

After a two year hiatus with another local architectural firm, Jim founded Castino Architecture in 2004, with the goal of providing high-quality, thoughtful and practical design solutions to the commercial and industrial client base he had established over the course of 30+ years in the design and construction business.

At Castino Architecture we strive to pursue a leadership role in a collaborative, inclusive and team centered manner. We effectively apply our creative and technical skills in design, planning, code analysis, construction documents, and construction administration to ensure that the clients’ needs and project goals are never forgotten –but indeed become the focus of our attention and our efforts.
