In late 2018, Larson approached us to study the feasibility of transforming this building into a new Volkswagen dealership using the latest “White Frame” concept for that brand. This was originally a Volkswagen dealership back in the 1950’s, and later transitioned through many other automotive uses. The exterior façade received extensive demolition of older materials, raised several feet in height, then new ACM aluminum panels and curtain wall glazing were installed.

The interior showroom, parts counter, and sales functions were gutted, then extensively renovated in accordance with the design guidelines of VW Corporate. The existing drive-thru canopy was fully enclosed, for the new Service Write-up functions.
